Burn off endless toddler energy with a morning of interactive play at Eureka!

Wondering how you’re going to fill another cold weekday with an energetic toddler? Forget defaulting to soft play. At Eureka!, little ones can play, shout, explore and discover while you enjoy a well-earned coffee and cake. Better still, after a morning of burning off energy, there’s every chance you’ll have one sleepy passenger on the drive home.

Eureka! is a sprawling museum where play comes first. Across six interactive galleries and dedicated spaces for under-5s, little adventurers are encouraged to crawl, build and explore at their own pace.

Discover the Sound Garden, where curious tots can listen to lullabies and create their own butterflies, before making music at Soundspace. And it wouldn’t be a trip to Eureka! without a stop at the child-sized town square. Shop for groceries at the Co-op play shop, withdraw money from the bank and charge up an electric car.

After all that exploring and imaginative play, there’s every chance you’ll have a sleepy passenger on the drive back. A quiet car journey home? It doesn’t get much better than that.

At Eureka!, there’s no need to worry about mucky fingerprints or telling little hands to “look, don’t touch”. Everything in the museum is designed to be touched, giving curious toddlers the confidence to investigate, experiment and learn all about the world around them.

Whether they’re shouting down a giant ear, exploring a massive nose (and waiting for the sneeze), or loudly practising their big emotions, children are free to push boundaries without worrying about getting it wrong.

But here’s the best bit – Eureka! is a judgement-free zone where questions, noise and messy play are all part of the experience. There are no side-eyes, no whispers, and no apologies necessary.

Find your new midweek routine

Because Eureka! is designed especially for young children, it’s a ready-made community where your little ones can play alongside new friends while parents can meet like-minded people navigating the same stage of life.

While your little one scurries around and practises team-building skills in the town square, there’s plenty of opportunity to chat with fellow parents or enjoy a well-earned coffee together between adventures.

Better still, every Eureka! ticket includes unlimited visits for a whole year. A play date at the museum can become your go-to midweek routine whenever those little legs need tiring out.

Great British Summer Savings prices are valid until Monday 31st August 2026. From Tuesday 1st September, standard admission costs £18.95 for adults and children aged three and over and £8.45 for one to two-year-olds. Under-ones go free. Cover image credit: Jonathan Pow/[email protected]
