Feast and Fireworks at The Devonshire Arms
If you want to really push the boat out this Bonfire Night, head to The Devonshire Arms at Bolton Abbey for a night of feasting before a pyrotechnics show lights up the North Yorkshire skies. The evening begins with a glass of fizz and canapés, followed by a three-course dinner featuring seasonal dishes. After dinner, it’s time to wrap up and head outside for a stunning pyro display set to music.

Bonfire Weekend at Thornton Hall

Thornton Hall Country Park’s Bonfire Weekend is back for two nights of fireworks and family fun. There’ll be live music, fire breathers and stilt walkers, alongside comedy magic shows, circus skills workshops, fairground rides and two licensed bars. But the highlight is the blazing bonfire at 7pm, followed by a huge fireworks display synchronised with music at 4:30pm.
When: 5:30pm to 10pm on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th November 2026.

Masham Bonfire & Firework Display
Masham’s annual firework display is very much a community affair – it’s free to enter, but you can make donations to the volunteers who help run the whole thing. It all kicks off at 5:30pm, with the bonfire being lit at 6:15pm and the fireworks shooting off into the sky from 7pm.
Warm yourself on mulled cider, soup and coffee, or tuck into hot dogs and burgers while you wait for the festivities to begin. With things wrapping up by early evening, the night is still young for a restorative pint in one of Masham’s lovely pubs.

Forged at Keighley & Worth Valley Railway

Not in the mood for a traditional Bonfire Night event? We’ve got just the ticket. Forged at Keighley & Worth Valley Railway is a unique ride-along experience, which sees you hop on board a steam train from Keighley Station and witness the historic railway as you’ve never seen it before. Surrounded by fire, smoke, steam and immersive lighting, it’s an exhilarating theatrical experience and a showcase of the power of industry.
When: There are sessions at 5pm, 6pm and 7:10pm on Thursday 5th, Friday 6th and Saturday 7th November 2026.

Mirfield Bonfire and Fireworks Extravaganza
Head to Mirfield Showground for one of the best family-friendly Bonfire Night events in Yorkshire in 2026. It’s run by the Mirfield & District Round Table, with proceeds going to worthy local causes. Having hosted the event for over 50 years, they sure know how to put on a show. Gates open at 4pm and you’ve got plenty of time to grab something to eat and have a mooch around the stalls, games and the funfair, before the bonfire is lit at 6:15pm and the fireworks go off around 7:30pm.

Spooky Spectacular Fireworks Night
If you’re not ready to give up on Halloween just yet, head to the Spooky Spectacular Fireworks Night at Doncaster Races. It starts at 4pm and there’s loads to do – you can have a go on the fairground rides, dance the night away to K-Pop entertainers and even learn some moves yourself. Once you’ve explored the site, stop by the bar and food court before the huge fireworks display starts at 7pm.
When: 4pm on Sunday 1st November 2026.

Arcnight at Don Valley Bowl

The team behind Illuminate the Gardens are back with Arcnight, a brand new event bringing fireworks, live music and a nod to Sheffield’s steelmaking heritage to Don Valley Bowl. Alongside live bands and DJs, you can watch fire and light poi performances – and there’ll also be a secret stage show that’s being kept under wraps until the night. The theme draws on the sparks and heat of steel smelting, with the bowl’s steel ladle becoming a centrepiece of the show.

Driffield Firework Spectacular
Sky Magic is hosting one of the biggest fireworks displays in East Yorkshire with a huge event at Driffield Showground. The night will be opened by Great Driffield Radio hosts, with live entertainment and a traditional funfair. Peckish? Head to the food village to grab a bite before the skies light up at 7:30pm. You can even upgrade your experience to include VIP drive-in parking, watching the display from the comfort of your car.
