Smash your frustrations in this one-of-a-kind experience right in the heart of Hull.

Sometimes, the world feels like it’s pressing every single one of your buttons. Whether it’s endless emails, an unexpected flat tire or the sheer injustice of stepping on a rogue piece of LEGO the kids left lying around, those frustrations just keep piling up. That’s where the RageRoom in Hull comes in…

It offers a chance to break, smash and obliterate a variety of household items in a safe but satisfying way. And it’s every bit as liberating as it sounds. If you’ve ever dreamed of chucking your keyboard across the room during a bad day at work, this should absolutely make your list.

From plates and mugs to keyboards and monitors, RageRoom Hull is kitted out with all manner of breakable items just begging to meet the end of a baseball bat. You’ll be suited up in full protective gear, armed with a weapon of choice and encouraged to go wild for a full 30 minutes.

Swing, smash and bash your way to the kind of serenity that only comes with breaking things. It’s thoroughly good fun and an incredible way to release your tension. But the best part? You don’t even have to clean up afterwards. They take care of all that while you simply bask in your post-smash glow.

You may be smashing the hell out of stuff but don’t worry, you’ll be safe as houses. They’ve thought of everything to make the experience as safe as it is fun. That means you can leave your worries at the door and really get into the spirit of things – which is the whole point of the rage room.

Before you even lay a finger on a bat, you’ll be given a full rundown of the dos and don’ts, as well as the safe zones where you’ll be out of reach of rogue lampshades and glasses. Then you’ll get suited up in a safety outfit that wouldn’t look out of place in an apocalyptic drama – think boiler suits, gloves and a full-face visor.

The outfit doesn’t just keep you protected either – it also adds to the thrill. There’s something about getting into battle-ready gear that gets you in the mood for destruction. So, by the time you’re suited and booted, you’re psyched up and ready to let off some steam.

Full disclosure, it feels a bit awkward at first. We’ve all been taught not to break things – but all that hesitation disappears the moment you hear the satisfying crash of your first smash. There’s something incredibly satisfying about hearing glass shattering and seeing ceramics reduced to shards.

By the end of the session, your heart will be racing, your mind will feel clearer and you’ll have a satisfied grin plastered across your face. Is the rage room going to fix all your problems? Probably not. Will it leave you feeling a lot more zen? Absolutely, and you’ll wonder why you didn’t try it sooner.
