Bonfire Night is just around the corner and there are loads of incredible fireworks displays taking place all over Yorkshire – which will you go to in 2025?
Remember, remember the fifth of November because Yorkshire is going all out for Bonfire Night this year. In fact, there are epic fireworks displays taking place throughout early November, so you can pick and choose when and where you want to celebrate the big event. We’ve selected a handful of Yorkshire’s finest for you to choose from – if you wanted to, you could even do more than one! And if you’re looking to celebrate bonfire night in Leeds, here’s where to go.
Spooky Spectacular Fireworks Night
The annual Fireworks Spectacular at Doncaster Racecourse gets a spooky makeover for 2025 to help celebrate Halloween. It starts at 3pm and there’s loads to do – you can party in the kids disco, get your face painted and explore the circus skills workshops.
There will be performances by Laura’s Dance Academy and a must-visit fun fair too. Stop by the bar and food court, before their huge fireworks display starts at 7pm – and don’t worry about the weather, they have a covered viewing area.
Spooky Spectacular Fireworks Night takes over Doncaster Racecourse from 3pm on Sunday 2nd November 2025. Tickets are £10 for adults, £8 for children and £25 for a family of 4.
Bonfire Weekend Festival

You now have two chances to enjoy one of the best fireworks displays in Yorkshire at Thornton Hall. Whether you go on Friday or Saturday, the gates open at 5:30pm for you to explore the market stalls, enjoy live music and watch the kids’ entertainment.
There’s a bar and street food vendors too, plus a kids mini disco, fire-breathers and a brand new Sparkler Zone. Then it’s time to find yourself a good spot for the lighting of the bonfire around 7pm, followed by a mega fireworks show with music and special effects.
Bonfire Weekend Festival takes place at Thornton Hall Country Park from 5:30pm on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th November 2025. Tickets are £19.95 for adults and children, and £9.95 for kids aged 1-3.
Illuminate the Gardens
Illuminate the Gardens has been one of the best family-friendly fireworks displays in Yorkshire since 2015 – and 2025 marks its grand finale. The three-night extravaganza takes place in the incredible setting of the Sheffield Botanical Gardens from 4pm each day.
Head in to marvel at illuminated displays, snaffle street food, and go on the vintage fairground rides before the main event. Each night they start things off with a ‘low bangs’ display for the little ones, which is followed later on in the evening by the main display. Don’t miss it – it’s set to be a fantastic farewell.
Illuminate the Gardens takes over Sheffield Botanical Gardens from Friday 7th to Sunday 9th November 2025. Tickets start from £21 for adults and £16.50 for children.
The Festival of Fireworks

The event formally known as The Big Bang will take place at the Eco-Power Stadium and it’s set to be Doncaster’s biggest and best fireworks display to date. It all kicks off from 5pm, and you can enjoy not one, but two different sets of fireworks.
The first is a kid-friendly one, starting at 6:30pm, before the big finale at 8:45pm, and it promises to be one of the most impressive in Yorkshire. You can also look forward to a funfair, live music, food stalls and a licensed bar.
The Festival of Fireworks Firework Spectacular is at Eco-Power Stadium from 5pm on Wednesday 5th Novemeber 2025. Tickets are £3 in advance or £5 per person in the day.
Autumn Lights
If you’re looking for Bonfire Night fun in South Yorkshire, book in for Autumn Lights at Don Valley Bowl in Sheffield. This is one of the most elaborate Bonfire Night and firework events in Yorkshire so get set for a spectacular affair.
Walk in and you’ll meet glowing, roaming entertainers around the stadium and get to watch the live entertainment on the stage. Alongside all that, you can also visit street food stalls, bars and the funfair before the kid-friendly display is set off around 7:40pm and the main one at 9:15pm.
Autumn Lights takes over Don Valley Bowl, Sheffield from 3pm on Wednesday 5th November 2025. Tickets are £16.99 for adults and £8.99 for children 2 to 16. Under 3s go free.
Sky Magic

Sky Magic are returning with a trio of huge firework festivals that cater to everyone. With events at Galtres Pickering Showground, Driffield Showground and Beaver Park Norwood in Beverley, they’re bringing their classic fireworks experiences and family entertainment across Yorkshire.
Each event will kick off with entertainment from radio hosts, along with live singers and activities, food and a funfair. The firework display starts at 7:30pm at Driffield and Beverly, but Pickering spoils you with a 7pm flames & fireworks warm up display before a sensational pyromusical display at 7:30pm.
Sky Magic takes over Galtres Pickering Showground from 4pm on Saturday 1st November 2025, Driffield Showground from 4pm on Wednesday 5th November 2025, and Beaver Park Norwood in Beverley from 4pm Friday 7th November 2025. Tickets from £5 to £25.
Mirfield Bonfire and Fireworks Extravaganza
Head to Mirfield Showground for one of the best family-friendly Bonfire Night events in Yorkshire in 2025. It’s run by the Mirfield & District Round Table, with proceeds going to worthy local causes. This year, it promises to be bigger and better than ever before.
Gates open at 4pm and you’ve got plenty of time to grab something to eat and have a mooch around the stalls, games and the funfair, before the bonfire is lit at 6:15pm and the fireworks go off around 7:30pm.
Mirfield Bonfire and Fireworks Extravaganza takes over Mirfield Showground from 4pm on Saturday 8th November 2025. Tickets are £7.55 for adults and children over 13 and £3.23 for children 12 and under. Under 3s go free.
Masham Bonfire & Firework Display

This annual spectacular is very much a community affair – they put out a call for contributions to the bonfire, and it’s free to enter. It all kicks off at 5.30pm, with the bonfire being lit shortly after and the fireworks shooting off into the sky from 7pm.
Warm yourself on mulled cider, soup and coffee, or tuck into hot dogs and burgers while you wait for the festivities to begin. With things wrapping up by about 8pm, the night is still young for a restorative pint in one of Masham’s lovely pubs.
Masham Bonfire & Firework Display is at Shooting Holme, Masham from 5:30pm on Saturday 8th November 2025. Entry is free but donations are welcome.
