Nail Envy Harrogate

Jennyfields residents, did you know that one of Harrogate’s best nail bars for gel manicures is on your doorstep? When you’re in need of a little one-to-one indulgence, this stylish home boutique just north of the town is a must.

Step inside and let owner Danielle transform your nails into something stunning. Prepping for a special occasion? Share your outfit and let her work her colour-matching magic. Seriously, she’s a Nailympia award-winner for a reason.

Perfectionism is a given. Not only will your nails look the part, but Danielle showers them with care thanks to HEMA-free and 100% vegan gel polishes from UK company, Magpie Beauty. Only the finest for your fingers. Gel polish starts from £32, while nail art can be added from £1 per nail. There’s free parking outside too, making it a handy alternative to heading into the town centre.

Where? Nail Envy Harrogate, 59 Norwich Drive, Harrogate, North Yorkshire, HG3 2TQ.
Best for: Thoughtful nail care outside of the town centre.

The Treatment Rooms

A white-washed wall covered in nail varnishes in every colour.

Bossing Harrogate’s pamper scene, The Treatment Rooms is your go-to for all things beauty. Every team member is delightful, but our mitts get the five-star treatment from Ana (choose a luxury manicure for her hand massages – worth every penny).

Gel polishes and builder gels dominate, with designs firmly in the classy camp. French tips, glossy pastels, delicate nail art – the attention to detail leaves your nails looking (and, more importantly, feeling) in beautiful shape.

From the flower-festooned decor that changes with the season to the secret garden nook out back, a mani here is a little slice of escapism. Gents needn’t miss out either, as they offer men’s manicures. Appointments can be booked online, but it’s worth planning ahead – the salon recommends booking two to three weeks in advance.

Where? The Treatment Rooms, 18A Mayfield Grove, Harrogate, North Yorkshire, HG1 5HB.
Best for: Turning your manicure into a proper pamper session.

If you like to add an extra flourish to your nail art, get ready to drool. We spotted glitter dip powders, aura nails, sparkly gems and stencil work all on our visit. Bring your inspiration pics and let the creative techs have at it.

Walk-ins and appointments are both welcome, while students can get 10% off. It’s open from Monday to Saturday too, making it a handy option when you need a last-minute nail appointment.

Acrylic nail extensions rule the roost. Eye-catching coffin nails, flattering almond nails, hella dramatic stiletto nails – choose your shape then layer on all kinds of wild colours from Nailberry and CND polishes. The result? Nails to be noticed.

Service is swift but friendly. Great for when you need glam on-the-go. Plus, it accepts walk-ins. Rock up, find out the wait time, then nip round the corner to grab a coffee from Bean and Bud.

Your nails are in safe hands. From a quick slick of gel polish to pristinely sculpted acrylics, SNOB’s team can make your wildest nail needs a reality. The nail art choices are off the charts. If you can dream it, they can paint it!

Really, there’s no wrong turn. The welcome at SNOB is warm, top brands like The Gel Bottle line the shelves, and the long-standing team are as skilled as they are social. A great entry salon for the mani-curious among you.
