Heal Spa
Less of a Harrogate spa and more of an all-round wellness destination, Heal is part-spa, part-cafe and part-gift shop. But this is no identity crisis. Heal’s wide appeal is deliberate and promises one hell of a pamper.
On the first floor, boho-style treatment rooms offer everything from Indian head massages to muscle-toning body masks. Oliver, the co-owner, is a trained podiatrist. Unsurprisingly, the Foot Spa Therapy will have you walking on air.
Downstairs, rustic accents and vibrant tiled floors make Heal’s cosy cafe a home-away-from-home. No need to speed off once your massage has finished. Linger a while and toast your treatment with some of the best coffee in town.

Ready to stretch, bend and pop your pains away? Thai Garden Massage is the real deal, offering achy residents of Harrogate the chance to experience the ancient (and powerful!) art of Thai massage.

Filled with joint stretching and muscle manipulation, you’ll feel brand new in no time. However, if you’d prefer to start with something more soothing, Paphanin is also trained in Swedish massage. An excuse to make a return visit, perhaps?

Give your body the love it deserves at HG Beauty and Body, where owner Clare brings a technical twist to all her massages. After two decades in the biz, she gets results, whether that’s banishing stress or soothing away sore joints.
This is certainly an expert set-up. But relaxation doesn’t play second fiddle. Her handpicked menu spans therapeutic scalp massages and luxurious cacao treatments, as well as more advanced Jing Method massages.
Inside, the treatment room is simple, welcoming and professional through-and-through. Make the most of Clare’s extensive knowledge and ask for product recommendations. Why should the pampering end when the massage does?
